How Cursive Font Generator uses cookies, analytics, and browser storage
2026/07/23
This Cookie Policy explains how Cursive Font Generator ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on cursivefontgenerator.me (the "Service"). It should be read with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, scripts, and device identifiers. Some are necessary to provide a feature; others help us understand how the Service is used.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or cookies for cross-context behavioral advertising.
These technologies support authentication, account security, load handling, and requests you make. Disabling them may prevent account features from working.
Better Auth session cookies. Cookie names may include
better-auth.session_token, better-auth.session_data, secure-prefixed
versions of those names, and short-lived OAuth state cookies. They authenticate
your session, cache limited session information, remember an authentication
choice, and protect sign-in flows. The main session is generally configured for
up to seven days; cached session data and OAuth state use shorter periods.
Production authentication cookies are configured with security protections
such as HttpOnly, Secure, and SameSite where applicable.
Security and infrastructure technologies. Our hosting, content-delivery, and security providers may use short-lived cookies or identifiers needed to route requests, detect abuse, maintain availability, and protect the Service. Their exact names and duration can vary with infrastructure and security conditions.
If Google sign-in or Google One Tap is displayed or selected, Google Identity Services and your browser may use cookies, browser-mediated identity features, or account state to show the prompt, remember prompt status, prevent abuse, and complete authentication. Google controls these technologies under its own policies and your Google Account or browser settings.
Google sign-in is optional. You can instead use email and password, subject to the sign-in options currently available.
We use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") to understand traffic and how visitors use the Service. GA4 may set:
_ga, which distinguishes browsers or users; and_ga_<container-id>, which persists session state for our GA4 property.Google's default expiration for these cookies is up to two years, although the period can be shortened by browser controls, our configuration, consent settings, or deletion. GA4 may collect page views, referrals, campaign parameters, approximate location, device and browser details, and interaction events. Our generator analytics are designed not to send the actual text you enter.
Analytics cookies are not required to generate or download cursive text and images. Where applicable law requires prior consent, the legal basis for these cookies is consent; elsewhere, use may be based on legitimate interests subject to local law.
The Service uses session storage to preserve temporary state, including a
generator draft (for example, under cursive-generator-draft-v1) when you
switch between generator modes or move through a share-reuse flow. Session
storage normally remains within the current browser tab and is removed when
the tab or session ends, although browser behavior can vary.
This temporary browser storage is separate from signed-in design history saved to your account. Ordinary PNG and SVG creation also occurs locally in your browser, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
The principal third parties that may place or read cookies or similar technologies are:
Our Facebook, X, Pinterest, and WhatsApp buttons are outbound sharing links. Simply displaying these links is not intended to install those platforms' advertising cookies through our site. If you click a link, the destination platform may receive the URL, referral information, your IP address, and data available through your browser, and may use its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
You can delete or block cookies and clear site data through your browser settings. Most browsers also allow you to:
Blocking strictly necessary cookies may log you out or prevent registration, Google sign-in, account history, favorites, and sharing controls from working. The guest generator should remain available, but preferences and temporary state may not persist.
You can also use Google's browser tools and account controls to limit Google Analytics and Google sign-in behavior. Browser privacy features, extensions, and device settings may provide additional controls.
Some browsers send Global Privacy Control ("GPC") or Do Not Track signals. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. As a result, there is currently no such sale or sharing for a GPC signal to opt out of. Browser Do Not Track signals do not have a single industry-standard interpretation, but you can use the controls described above.
Cookie names, providers, and durations may change as browsers, security needs, and the Service evolve. We will update this Policy when our use of cookies materially changes and obtain consent where required by applicable law.
